Second Sunday of Easter (B)

HI EVERYONE

ATTACHED IS THE HYMN LIST FOR: 04/07/24, SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER (DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY) - Cycle Year B

1. During this season of Easter, we will continue to sing the Glory to God from the Mass of Creation BB885/ 4CP132.

2. For the Psalm, we will sing PSALM 118: GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD, HIS LOVE IS EVER LASTING. - (LAROSA SETTING) - SHEET.

4. For the Gospel Acclamation for this, the Second Sunday of Easter and as we celebrate the 'Octave of Easter' we will once again sing the Celtic Alleluia found in BB947 with verse found in 4CP161 or (SHEET). Seasonal Verse: NOW HE IS LIVING, THE CHRIST, OUT OF THE TOMB HE IS RISEN; HE HAS CONQUERED DEATH, OPENED HEAVEN TO ALL BELIEVERS. Note also that we will sing the refrain again after the Gospel reading for all masses.

5. For the duration of the Easter Season, we will be singing from the Mass of Creation BB885-889 or 4CP132-136. On the Great Amen, please replace the last 'AMEN' WITH 'ALLELUIA'. Also, on the Lamb of God, the cantor intones, "LAMB OF GOD" and the people respond "YOU TAKE AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD".
