HI EVERYONE

ATTACHED IS THE HYMN LIST FOR: 05/12/24, SOLEMNITY OF THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD - Cycle Year B

1. During this season of Easter, we will continue to sing the Glory to God from the Mass of Creation BB885/ 4CP132.

2. For the Psalm, we will sing PSALM 47: 'GOD MOUNTS HIS THRONE TO SHOUTS OF JOY: A BLARE OF TRUMPETS FOR THE LORD'. - BB p. 155 / R&A p. 88 (WE WILL NOT BE USING THE LAROSA SETTING FOR THIS WEEKEND).

3. For the Gospel Acclamation for this, the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, we will be singing from R&A p. 89 / BB p. 156 - v. 'GO AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, SAYS THE LORD; I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD.'

4. For the duration of the Easter Season, we will be singing from the Mass of Creation BB885-889 or 4CP132-136. On the Lamb of God, the cantor intones, "LAMB OF GOD" and the people respond, "YOU TAKE AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD".
